St. Michael School
First Communicants/Second Graders
Important: Please note these dates on your calendars at home.
1. First Communion Practice
Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. Please have the
children at the front entrance of the church by 6:15pm. Parents will go into church and sit in their assigned family pew. (If rainy weather, Mr. Lenburg or myself will be at the church to direct the children where to go.) At least one parent or guardian must attend this practice so that person can inform family members of what to do on Sunday, May 2nd.
2. First Communion--
Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 at 2 p.m. Please have the children come to the school cafeteria or (church basement depending on the weather) between 1:35 to 1:45 p.m. Mr. Lenburg or myself will be out front to tell the children where to go (whether to the school or the church basement)
Parents, family members, and guests are to go to the church.
3. St. Michael School May Procession--- 8:20 a.m.
Wednesday, May 5th, 2010
The First Communicants should wear their First Communion
clothes to school for the May Procession and Mass honoring
the Blessed Mother. They should also bring a flower to be placed before the Blessed Mother in Church. The First Communicants should bring their school uniform to change into after the May Procession and Mass. We will need a few parents to help supervise the changing into
the school uniform after Mass. Please let me know if you can help.
