Excitement and pride filled our school community as our local robotics team, Robophish, advanced to the state competition for the very first time! Representing St. Michael Catholic School was 8th grade student Eleanor Kornowski, who played an important role in the team’s success.
The competition was not only a great achievement, but also an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. From problem-solving challenges to teamwork under pressure, the students demonstrated creativity, perseverance, and a true passion for innovation. The team performed exceptionally well and represented our community with pride.
Robophish, proudly represented by their unique anglerfish mascot, is part of a community-based robotics club that brings students together to explore engineering, coding, and teamwork outside of the classroom setting.

Nuestra comunidad escolar celebra con gran orgullo el logro de nuestro equipo local de robótica, Robophish, que este año avanzó por primera vez a la competencia estatal. Representando a St. Michael Catholic School estuvo la estudiante de 8.º grado Eleanor Kornowski, quien desempeñó un papel importante en el éxito del equipo.
La competencia no solo fue un gran logro, sino también una experiencia muy divertida y enriquecedora para todos los participantes. A través de desafíos, trabajo en equipo y pensamiento creativo, los estudiantes demostraron perseverancia, talento y una gran pasión por la innovación. El equipo hizo un excelente trabajo y representó a nuestra comunidad con mucho orgullo.
Robophish, con su creativo mascota de pez rape (anglerfish), forma parte de un club de robótica basado en la comunidad, que brinda a los estudiantes la oportunidad de aprender sobre ingeniería, programación y colaboración fuera del aula.
